Memories shape our identities, and photography serves as a powerful tool for preserving, interpreting, and reimagining them. Through a combination of analog and digital photography, my work explores the influence of family, focusing on how inherited skills, values, and traditions shape us. I am interested in the ways that family motivates us, the lessons passed down through generations, and how traditions evolve over time. By engaging with personal and collective memory, I seek to understand how these elements impact our sense of self and connection to the past.

Beyond capturing images, I work to push the boundaries of traditional photographic display by experimenting with installation and presentation methods. By recontextualizing my photographs through layering, physical manipulation, or unconventional display techniques, I explore how the method of presentation itself alters meaning and perception. These explorations challenge the static nature of the photographic image and encourage viewers to engage with memory and tradition in new ways.
